Uniworld Kid’s day

Uniworld Boutique River Cruises, one of the river cruise lines that frequently dock, organises an annual charity event for the residents of the cities where they regularly dock. We were keen to help them with this and transformed our Main Deck into a veritable children’s paradise.

This year, both Amsterdam young guests and senior citizens were welcome aboard the Uniworld ships. The guests were invited through Cordaan. After an extensive lunch on board, there was plenty to do for the kids in the terminal such as an assault course, popcorn, face painting, crafts, yoga, games and silent disco. The elderly stayed on board and could do various activities there.

This day could count on wonderful reactions from parents/carers: “What a great big space, our children(autistic) don’t get any extra stimuli because of this. Because the space is so big, they can run safely without any obstacles. The children also loved the view of the trains. How nice that you (Duty and crew Rivercruises) participate (crafts, dancing) with the children. Our children are having the time of their lives.”
